IUK CfI: Innovation in play to improve child outcomes
Organisations can apply for a share of £3 million to develop and evaluate practical solutions that improve children’s access to high-quality, real-world play. Projects must use play to improve learning, development, health or wellbeing, reduce inequalities, support caregivers and communities, or embed play within services. Phase 1 contracts range from £200,000 to £500,000 for 12-month projects. Screen-based play, AI solutions, conventional toys and projects without practical piloting are excluded.
